Electric Cars: Better for life, better than gas.

Authors Note: I wanted to write an essay so that I would know how to write and to get familiar with essays. I picked the topic of electric and hybrid cars because I have an opinion about gas cars not being eco-friendly and being expensive to fill up.

If you drove an electric or hybrid car could save over five hundred dollars a year. Why don’t we all drive one? Car dealers should stop making gas powered cars by the year of 2020.

Driving an electric car saves the driver money. Gas is almost at four dollars a gallon. Electricity for electric cars is eleven cents per gallon.  If you drove a hybrid you would save over five hundred dollars a year. Driving an electric car would save you over one thousand dollars a year.  Also the cost of a hybrid car is less than the cost of an electric car, but you would not save as much.
The electric and hybrid cars are eco friendly. Electric and hybrid cars do not emit as much exhaust as gas powered cars. With hybrids you won't use as much gas, and with electric cars you won't use any gas. We keep talking oil away from the economy where if we used electricity we would not have to take as much oil away; this is the reason gas prices have been so high. Also unlike gasoline/oil electricity is almost unlimited.
By year 2020, all gas powered cars should be off the road. It would help save you money and help save the planet.
